You might be referring to RAM. HQ15 was referring to 8GB VRAM.

This ABS Cyclone Aqua is a budget gaming tower built around an i5 14400F and RTX 5060, with the strongest appeal in affordable 1080p to 1440p play and an easy upgrade path. The current price is viewed as reasonable given GPU costs, and the DDR4 platform can be useful if spare memory is already on hand. The main knocks are the 8GB graphics memory, the DDR4 platform versus nearby DDR5 alternatives, and the QLC SSD. A BIOS update through MSI Center also ended badly on one MSI board, so that route looks risky.

Gamers wanting a cheap 1080p starter tower, because the RTX 5060 8GB is described as good for a budget PC and the system has an upgrade path later.
RelaxedOstrich2488 HQ15
Upgraders with spare DDR4 memory, because the DDR4 platform can be a good fit when you already have 4x16GB DDR4 sticks available.
HappyHamster839
Players targeting 1440p on a tight budget, because the graphics card is described as strong in 1440p despite the modest price.
RacingSOUL

Builders who want a modern memory platform, because this configuration still uses DDR4 even with a 14th-gen processor.
FaithfulGame3171 AquaHome7865
Heavy multitaskers who need plenty of graphics headroom, because 8GB of VRAM can feel tight and Windows 11 can consume a large share while idle.
gvillecl KMFers
Owners who plan to tweak firmware through bundled utilities, because updating the BIOS from MSI Center can leave the system with no video after reboot.

Common Questions (4)

The RTX 5060 here is an 8GB card, which is best suited to budget-focused gaming rather than higher-end use. It can still be a solid short-term buy while GPU prices are high, but 8GB VRAM may become limiting sooner for newer games.
RelaxedOstrich2488 HQ15 gvillecl KMFers
It uses DDR4, not DDR5. That makes it less attractive if you want a newer memory platform, but it can be a plus if you already have compatible DDR4 sticks to reuse.
FaithfulGame3171 HappyHamster839 AquaHome7865
The main concern called out is that the SSD is QLC. It can still work fine for most use, but QLC is the part to watch if you care about sustained write performance or long-term storage behavior.
RacingSOUL
Yes. The system is described as a good starter build with a clear upgrade path for the CPU, RAM, and GPU after about a year, which makes it workable if you want to spread upgrades out over time.

this is a good deal seeing that gpus are still expensive. upgrade path for this very much possible. solid pc for next 1 year as is, then upgrade parts for the next 2 years to a better chip, ram, and gpu with more ram. 8gb will only be good for so long

8gb is not good now. Win 11 will eat half of that while idle.

You might be referring to RAM. HQ15 was referring to 8GB VRAM.

8gb GPU is a laptop GPU. Good for people just wanting a cheap pc tho

That is a stupid take. My 3060ti still does fine and plays any games as well as it has for the last 6 years.

Really for most gamers, 3060 is fine, especially if you're going to play cpu intensive games...

3060Ti was an absolute beast for the price. Nvidia learned from that and never did it again.

I did a clean windows 11 install and was looking for the wifi and bluetooth drivers, this board is a "MSI PRO B760M-VC WIFI DDR4" which is not listed anywhere I could find so I installed the msi center app to install the drivers, it offered a bios update, sure why not... reboot and crickets, nothing, no video, just rgb lights on the fans, so yeah I'm pretty sure I bricked it. I'll be returning it in the morning.

*EDIT*
DONT UPDATE THE BIOS FROM MSI CENTER Smilie
