I've used these PVC mats for a rolling office chair and my floor always got marked. Switched to a glass floor mat and haven't looked back.

Images are misleading, 14x24 is tiny, about the size of a lunch tray. Maybe would be ok for a nightstand

I paid $52 for a 42in x 72in in Jan 2023 from a different brand. This one costs $41 for the same size, so it's definitely a good deal. I hope it has at least the same or better quality than what I have.

Glass? No.
Polycarbonate? Yes.

Can confirm; glass floor mats are awesome. I've been using the same one for about 10 years. Smooth rolling, no marks or cracks or breaks. Presuming I never drop anything on it that's heavier than I have so far, I expect it to last forever.
