The gencheng knife set at Costco is better than this and goes on sale for 150 bucks for a whole set of about 12 knives. This is a scam. Does not cut better, rusts faster and doesn't last as long. It's worse in every way. The Costco set is even better than the whustoff set I have. Better in every way. I paid 1100 for my whustoff ikon set. 150 for the Costco white handle knives that are identical look. When I got married I wanted expensive knives so I got the whustoff in sale from 1700 to 1100 at bed bath and beyond. Even bought additional specialty knives that were 200 bucks each. I was young and dumb.
