Community Reviews
This Jamo bundle is a budget home theater setup that delivers a big upgrade over TV speakers and soundbars, especially for movies and full room sound. The towers and sub are the standout pieces, and the system pairs well with a decent receiver for a living room or larger TV setup. The center channel is the weakest link, and the Atmos upfiring speakers are hit or miss depending on room layout. It is a solid value if you want one kit to cover a whole room without chasing separate pieces.
Home theater fans building a single-room surround setup, because the towers, sub, and center deliver strong movie sound for the price.
Living-room TV viewers with a decent receiver, because the speakers can make movies and shows sound much better than a soundbar.
Buyers who want a full-range speaker package for a larger room, because the towers provide more sound than satellite speakers and suit room-filling playback.
Shoppers who want to buy one complete kit and be done, because the bundle covers towers, surrounds, Atmos modules, a center, and a subwoofer.
Rooms where the center channel must carry dialogue cleanly without receiver tuning, because the center is weak out of the box.
Very space-restricted setups, because the tower-based package is a poor fit when a satellite system would be easier to place.
Music-first listeners, because the system is described as tuned for home theater rather than music.
People expecting strong tactile bass from the subwoofer, because it may not deliver the chest-thumping feel some listeners want.

I think this series of speaker is decent value for the money, but this particular set comes up often at this price and is right where it should be for MSRP. The S81 center in this bundle has always felt particularly out of place next to the S809 towers. They really can't even throw in the *slightly* better S83 to try to help the center channel keep up a little more?
But a "good" sub and center alone cost more than this entire bundle unless you find some kind of great local used deal, so I see the appeal for someone who just wants to buy one kit and be done with it.
