Community Reviews
This Jamo bundle is a budget home theater setup that delivers big, room filling sound and a clear step up from soundbars or TV speakers. The towers are the standout, with strong clarity, deeper bass, and good performance for movies, TV, and even music. The surrounds also get praise, and the system is easy to drive with a decent receiver. The center and sub are the weak links, and the Atmos modules depend heavily on room layout. It is a solid value if you want a full speaker package and can tune around the compromises.

The full Jamo speaker kit can deliver strong home theater sound with a 75-inch TV setup.
The towers provide full-room clarity and deeper, richer bass compared with the included sub.
The system can significantly improve TV and movie listening versus built-in TV speakers or a soundbar.
The center and sub are weak points, and the S81 center can feel out of place with S809 towers.
The upfiring Atmos speakers can range from rarely used to completely ineffective depending on room layout.
The included sub can perform poorly due to bad response and port tuning, and its internal sub amp can fail after about an hour.
Satellite-style speakers may roll off around 120Hz, so results depend heavily on room and listening use.

I think this series of speaker is decent value for the money, but this particular set comes up often at this price and is right where it should be for MSRP. The S81 center in this bundle has always felt particularly out of place next to the S809 towers. They really can't even throw in the *slightly* better S83 to try to help the center channel keep up a little more?
But a "good" sub and center alone cost more than this entire bundle unless you find some kind of great local used deal, so I see the appeal for someone who just wants to buy one kit and be done with it.
