I thought the movie was four really bad stories to make excuses for people making bad life decisions. The game show kid selling speakers showed some improvement when he saw his customer's situation. But the others were just basket cases. The guy who lost his gun was not a bad guy, but neither a good guy deserving of total forgiveness.
I am probably thankful I do not remember the other two stories in detail. But my memory of this movie is that it tried to excuse the bad decisions of four people.
