Why does this have a 10GB WAN port, and then only 1GB LAN ports? Whatever is plugged into the LAN will be limited to 1GB speed.
The price for this seems outrageous, considering it's WiFi 6 (two generations behind; WiFi 6E and WiFi 7 have been released since WiFi 6). 27% off is a good discount, but I think it was overpriced to begin with.
You can find a comparable ASUS WiFi 6E mesh system (3 pack ASUS ET9, WiFi 6E - an upgrade over WiFi 6) for under $300. And if you want WiFi 7, you can get an ASUS WiFi 7 mesh system (3 pack ASUS BT8) for under $600. However, neither of these has a 10GB WAN; only 2.5GB WAN, with 1GB LAN ports (and a 2.5GB LAN port for the BT8). But 2.5GB WAN is still more than enough for most people, unless someone has internet speed over 2.5GB.
And if you really want WiFi 6, ASUS XT8 (3 pack) is a great system, but it's expensive to buy new now. A 2-pack is about $330. For a 3-pack I recommend eBay, where you could cobble together a 3 pack (I see 2 packs and single units for sale) for around $300. But those would likely be used or "open box" units.
Why ASUS? Because they don't charge you subscription fees for security features. Netgear (Orbi), Amazon (eero), TP-Link will all charge a subscription fee every month for "extra" security features. (Note - this Orbi system includes the security features for 1 year, then you need to pay for continued access to those features).
ASUS includes all security features when you buy the router. No subscription fees are charged by ASUS.

The 'security features' are garbage, regardless.
