4 weeks ago i bought one and the date code was 0123..... i rebought again 2 weeks later at 170 and again i got a date code of 0123, dont be surprised if you get a battery that has been on a shelf for 3 year+

It's funny to think that battery powered tools have a shelf life because of the batteries. A gas mower can sit on a store shelf for 10 years and still sell full price.

Thus the "clearing out" pricing on these the last few months. Toro does seem to think "pretty highly" of their batteries 🤔😂😂.
