What are the chances these are not lots quality knockoffs?
There have been many reports over the last few years about Chinese knockoff tourniquets failing in emergency situations.
I would hate to have my cheapo tendencies be the reason some lost a limb or died when a proper, timely intervention would have prevented that.

On the flip side, if you wouldn't have had anything and buying this means that you will have gauze pads and bandaids, then why not?

M336G3VZ still seems to work. You might need to switch to the one sold by AMORNING INC by clicking through "Other sellers on Amazon" If you're using the Amazon app don't forget to tap the arrow in the promo code box to apply the code.

I feel like first aid kits usually have weird assortments of stuff and you're probably better off making your own but on the other hand I guess I don't actually have a first aid kit in my car and I'm lazy so for $10 yeah sure.

If you contribute to a flexible spending account (yearly pre-tax medical contributions, usually through work) and haven't spent that use-it-or-lose-it money for 2026, you can use it to buy qualifying medical supplies, and first-aid kits are usually included. Just submit your purchase receipt like you would a medical bill for reimbursement.

One of my kids just started scouting. You need to take a first aid kit with you when hiking (always prepared!). Something like this is a great way to get your kit started. It has just about everything you need. If you piece it together, you end up buying packs of all kinds of things for $10 each item and would spend a fortune.

This is all small cheap bandages, not sure how helpful for camping. Some ointment, tick tweezers, moleskin, aspirin, polysporin, Benadryl, etc are all basics that should be in a first aid kit and not 200 small bandages that won't stick and you'll toss in a couple years when they dry out
