At $2.40 shipped, this is practically half the price of Walmart SuperTech or Fram Extra Guard filters ($4.50–$6.00), and way cheaper than buying a single filter at AutoZone/Advance Auto ($8–$10). Hard to go wrong grabbing a few for your next couple oil changes.

I just bought these and there are way too much glue near the bottom, I will be returning them.

I use Wix XP but Purlator ONE filters are are good too. These are not bad though.

Wix use to be considered the gold standard. But when mann hummel bought them out they raised prices and cheapend the quality. It hurt alot of die hard fans. Purolator has had its weaknesses with pleat spacing, tearing or glue jobs that put a bad taste in some people's opinions for quality control and consistency. PGI and all the umbrella brands under them so far seem to get the most consistent results from tear downs and inspections; but some people refuse to buy them due to country of origin. Now, this type info is for the type of person who really wants to geek out on the most minute details. In all reality your average person isnt ever gonna dwell on these tiny details or ever know anything about it. Engines aren't blowing up left or right by any of these companies. But some people really want to zone in on all these details and try to get the most for their money to quality ratio. Be careful once u start to go down the rabbit hole of who makes the best cost/quality ratio, its a deep one.
