I think I have this brick, or at least the older version that is still 100w with 3x USB-C and 1x USB-A. I initially got it for my every day tech pouch but I ended up taking it on all of my work trips. It's very handy to recharge all of my devices with one outlet. $40 may sound like a lot but I'd rather go with a somewhat more known brand name than risk buying a no-name charger that could pop and catch fire. At least I can contact Ugreen and submit a complaint if something is wrong.

Agreed. My experience with Ugreen has been excellent for challenging things like bluetooth to aux, so I wouldn't call it no-name, but generic GaN have worked fine.

If you need single port 100w, this is a great deal. Ugreen is a solid, up and coming brand like Vevor or Anker and not a generic IMO. Their bluetooth car aux is awesome for an application that usually stinks.

However, if you only need 65w single port, you can get this for less than half that price w/ 5 ports, a slightly smaller (roughly the same size) form factor and similar reviews:

what am i missing when comparing to this Baseus [amazon.com]? Baseus is 140w, 2 yr warranty, and a smidge smaller,

In a way cargers are the same as desktop PSUs. They are simpler but on a flip side there is no certification and barely any reviews of internal components (if any). So pretty much only thing you have is a brand name and hope that they value it enough to put higher quality components to improve voltage stability and rediuce heat and ripple.

Also, 15W adapter requires less scrutiny than 100W because it's simpler and they've been around for ages.

Got this for 33 a few months back and it works ok, for my ally, iPhone, AirPods and watch, they all don't charge at the same time even though it's under 100watts total
