Check out with self scan express pay in the App then it will list if any coupons are there for that item. This way you don't miss coupon savings.

My issue with BJ's is the constant having to go in the app every week or so and manually click 3 to 400 coupons and then having to remember what you clipped when you actually go to the store it just too much work and makes it or you don't want to go and you end up just going to Sam's or Costco

I have a membership to both BJ's and Costco and they both have pluses and minuses.
Although BJ's is a wholesale club, they don't make you purchase quite as much as Costco does.
I can purchase 6 muffins at BJ's and Costco makes me buy 12.
BJ's is also a lot less crowded than Costco, so it's easier to get around.
But I've compared prices on similar items that each store brands (allergy meds, trash bags, etc) and Costco usually beats BJ's a little in price.
I also like that when something is on sale, Costco just gives you the discount versus having to clip coupons in the app for BJ's.
Where I live they pretty much always have the same prices on gas.

If you use firefox, check out this addon. Automatically clips all the coupons. Not sure if it is available for other browsers.

Why do you have to remember what you clipped? Just add the item to your cart in the app. It literally tells you what items have coupons available.

I really wish we had BJs in South central TX. Miss BJs. The things that I liked more about BJs is their aisles are labeled, you go to a different costco than your home location, you'll be lost. Although I love costco but it's always overcrowded including their parking lots. I love the coupon adding system in their app and many times you can double them or stack them and it works. The ultimate and unbeatable area where Costco & Sam's fail is use the of Manufacturer coupons. Gas wise, only costco has Top tier certified gas. For gas all our cars only go to Costco.

After you get a membership, look out for some additional savings. BJs currently has signs posted all over the store that you get $10 off your first purchase of $10 or more using scan and go in the app for the first time. The $10 automatically comes off. This also works for the secondary card member as well.

I have membership at all three warehouses and I love how Bj's has Double coupons for the same item and the coupon book is constantly changing the number of items.on sale!! Also, they have more healthy grocery items than Sam's Club. Gas has always been cheaper at Bj's warehouse compared to Sam's Club and Costco!! I definitely spend more of my grocery budget at Bj's warehouse than Sam's Club or Costco.

This right here is the reason i shop at Bjs. I can scan everything while i shop and checkout and walk out. No need to even get to the registers at all.
