Get the one with the camera. It's usually cheaper when on sale because they want you to sign up for monthly subscription. Works well as a keypad and free camera. Just don't get the subscription

The older generations had a cover to protect the keypad. Wonder what made them change to an exposed panel. Hopefully it's just as durable

What brand(s) are recommended? Chaimberlain owns so many brands, I figure it's easier to ask who to look for than who to avoid.

Bonus points for good integration with Home Assistant and other home automation platforms. Either natively, or by using well-supported standards. (This can include paying a little extra for additional hardware to facilitate communication.)
