For reference Costco is $7.69 for 15.5oz ($.50/oz) and Sam's is $9.38 for 26oz ($.36/oz).
OP's deal is $6.85 with five S&S ( $.42/oz) and the 21oz size on Amazon is also $6.84 after coupon so the cheapest at option ($.33/oz).

The 21 oz size people keep mentioning in this thread is the fine garlic powder. I personally find that fine garlic powder is way too powdery and try to avoid it, but that's an alternative option for those that may like the texture of fine garlic powder.

I made that mistake with powdered onion when what I wanted is granulated onion. The fine powder stuff is just too strong.

Garlic powder is recommended over granulated garlic for cooking in general by cooks illustrated. In some types of cooking it didnt' matter, but in other types it did - the granulated dissolved better into the food (I believe it was in uses with more liquid). I only buy the fine granulated powder now after watching their review and discussion.

Costco's is also all US grown Garlic. McCormick is not.

Costco's is granulated, though.
