I buy 50lb bags of Spartan's speedi-grow pulverized calcitic/dolomitic lime (30% Ca, 3% Mg) for about $4 when it's on sale (on sale now at Menard's). It's good enough to keep blossom end rot on tomatoes/peppers/squash/melons at bay, supposedly better than dolomitic lime does. It's also good for amending soil around Honey Crisp apple trees to keep the fruit from getting bitter pit, without having to resort to regular calcium nitrate foliar feedings throughout the season. Still some people can't lug around huge heavy bags around from a local supplier, so I'm sure some folks will jump on this. Lime & even moreso gypsum prices sure have gone up quite a bit in recent years!
