These Ozark Trail hike pants look like a comfortable, budget-friendly option for casual hiking, camping, and even mountain bike riding. The fit gets strong praise, with a better cut than other hike pants and enough comfort for frequent wear in cooler New England weather. The fabric is listed as 95 percent nylon and 5 percent spandex, which fits the lightweight stretch feel. The main drawback is sizing, since several orders arrived in the wrong size and some sizes are unavailable or priced much higher. A solid low-cost pick if your size is in stock.
Common Questions (4)
Multiple orders were shipped in the wrong size, and one report says there is no replacement option, only a refund. Checking the size carefully is important because the wrong item may arrive.
They are described as comfortable with a better fit than other hike pants, and they get regular wear for New England weather. At this price, they are considered a strong buy if your size is available.
They may not work well for shorter people with an inseam below 32 inches. The fit is otherwise praised, but inseam length is a practical check before ordering.
Yes. Sizes 36, 40, and 46 were around $6.50, while sizes 30 and 44 were $12.41 and size 42 was full price. The listed price can change depending on the size selected.
