These Ozark Trail hike pants look like a comfortable, budget-friendly option for casual hiking, camping, and even mountain bike riding. The fit gets strong praise, with a better cut than other hike pants and enough comfort for frequent wear in cooler New England weather. The fabric is listed as 95 percent nylon and 5 percent spandex, which fits the lightweight stretch feel. The main drawback is sizing, since several orders arrived in the wrong size and some sizes are unavailable or priced much higher. A solid low-cost pick if your size is in stock.
The pants provide a much better fit than other hike pants for regular seasonal wear.
The nylon and spandex fabric blend can support comfortable movement during hikes.
The pants can work well for mountain bike riding as well as hiking.
The pants can be a comfortable buy when the correct size is available at the sale price.
Orders can arrive with the wrong size, which can be frustrating for repeat purchases.
The pants may not work well for shorter people with an inseam below 32 inches.
The price can vary sharply by size, with some sizes staying near full price.
Replacement may not be available after a wrong-size shipment, with refunds being the only option.
