Community Reviews
Ozark Trail's hike pants are a lightweight, stretchy option that stands out for comfort, a better fit than other hike pants, and useful details like zip thigh pockets, UPF protection, and water resistance. The 95 percent nylon and 5 percent spandex fabric also makes them work well for casual hiking, camping, and even mountain bike riding. The main drawback is sizing, since the inseam can run long for shorter wearers and the sale sizes are limited. Fulfillment has also been inconsistent, with some orders arriving in the wrong size.
The pants use a 95% nylon and 5% spandex blend that stretches for comfort during wear.
The pants provide UPF protection and a water-resistant design for outdoor use.
The pants can fit better than other hike pants and work well for frequent wear in New England.
The pants can work for mountain bike riding in addition to hiking.
Size availability is limited, and some sizes can be out of stock when shopping the deal.
Orders can arrive with the wrong size, including repeated mix-ups between size 40 and size 32.
In-store pickup can be accurate, but shipping fulfillment can still send incorrect sizes based on label or barcode mismatches.
The inseam may run long for shorter shoppers, with an inseam below 32 inches potentially causing fit issues.

Ok so i just went to a rack and found a pair ... but the barcode says they are "Tan size 32" - where the label which is correct says "Dune size 40" ... so thats why you always get the wrong size because the barcode doesnt match the label ... i managed to get a pair in the end but only cause the manager said they will be on clearance soon anyway ... they totally didn't understand the label / barcode missmatch.
So 38's work for me, so ill order some 36's and hopefully get the 38's
Being nylon and spandex these do stretch a lot so I went down a waist size and they are still comfortable.
