I have several of these mounts, and I highly recommend them. When they go on sale like this, they cannot be beat.

Make sure you know the spacing between your studs. This are for 16" OC.

I have 2 of these mounts. They are OK but the older mounts used stronger materials.

Would this work for a Samsung Odyssey neo g9? The base of mine takes up way too much space and don't think an arm is going to work for the ikea desk it's on

Studs are the best, but if not - TOGGLER SNAPTOGGLE BB Toggle Anchor with Bolts, 1/4-20 UNC. (DO NOT overtighten)

I've installed very high-end 85" TV's with these.

In fact, pro tip...I hang weights off of the mount for ~2 days
or so. the weights are at least 10-20 pounds over the TV's weight.

What's the biggest TV you could have extend out and turn to be perpendicular to the wall?

Unless it's a Pulte home /s - they make brackets for TV mounts so it goes over 24" OC or otherwise bent Home Depot stud walls as well. Our Perlegear mount holds a 85" U7 without any issues and we move the TV daily. Would love these motorized...

For a heavy tv I didn't have good luck. Couldn't crank that orange knob tight enough to keep the angle I wanted. Monoprice makes some heavy duty wall brackets that I would recommend. I have a 50-inch Plasma on a Monoprice brackets and it stays put. Perlgear wouldn't do it .

the monitor uses a proprietary circular groove design on the back instead of a standard exposed VESA pattern. Because of this, you need a specialized VESA adapter bracket to attach it to a standard wall mount or monitor arm.

I have a smaller TV, should I get the smaller size one?

I literally installed this last night. I am a 5'1" woman - and I was able to do it on my own with a 65" TV. If feels sturdy and stable. After fiddling with it and a level - I was able to get the perfect viewing angle without it looking like a TV was hanging lopsided on my wall.

Note - if you have studs 16" and want your TV in a specific, centered spot - you need to check if your studs are placed in the right place for this. I'm not picky so I just placed the TV where the studs are, which is not centered on my wall. I can see this being very annoying to most.
