Seems like a good deal if you need a gaming laptop. Not sure how well built these are though.

I have this laptop but with lower specs, it is not flimsy, loud fans (probably a good thing lol). I would say build quality is not lacking, metal body etc

All gaming laptops realistically have loud fans.

Yes, perhaps I should have said, these fans are often loud even if you aren't doing anything stressful on the computer. Overall I really enjoy this laptop but I got the crappier model for a similar price nearly a year ago at this point

Makes sense. I found using a laptop cooling pad does help that quite a bit, although it might be worth downloading HWiNFO to see what the laptop is doing temperature-wise to cause those elevated fan noises.
Could potentially show a bad thermal paste job.

Really great deal, especially with the 32GB/2TB. MSI Vector/Raider laptops of this generation have louder fans than other gaming laptops, as people have pointed out.

They have a very aggressive fan curve, not due to the thermals. It can get annoying but you can also adjust the fan curve using the MSI app.
