If it said key card in the title it would be best; some hate them (I'm more accepting though physical is always better)

Game key card makes this a Definitive NO edition for me. I already have physical copies of the original but I'd happily purchase this for Switch 2 if it had the actual game on it.

Agreed! But unfortunately the digital copy is $10 more everywhere else right now. If someone wants any version of this game for less than MSRP, this is the only option.

If you can get access to the physical Switch 1 version you can pre-order the switch 2 digital version for 50% off (and you don't need to keep the switch 1 version to play it upon release).

So, owning a Switch 2 is basically accepting game keycards as the norm. No wonder I haven't played mine since launch.

Kinda off topic. THIRTY DOLLARS to upgrade if you already own the game is gross

So as you all know that Samsung and SK Hynix has the world by the balls right? They're only making HBM memory for AI data centers right now. And Micron just said screw all the consumers, we're only making HBM and Crucial is no more. Nintendo Switch 2 game publishers can't get NAND Flash for physical copies, and if they could, these cards are 64GB and as you can imagine, they're real expensive right now, and then what if the game is more than 64GB?? Then you'll have either 2 cards or having to end up downloading the rest of the game like Final Fantasy for example. Yes, AI is screwing the world over. Not even Apple can get RAM to make iPhone 18's. Our only hope is that new memory company coming out of China, hope they'll get their fabs up and running soon. I personally will pause on buying games until they're back on media cards/discs in the case of PS5 & Xbox.

Sad... This place is ten times worse than reddit for mass downvoters. Especially on pop culture items.
