Not much of a deal. You can get both of these for less from the All-Clad factory seconds sale as packaging damaged (so not a second) for less, and the 12-imch fry pan will come with a lid to boot.

I agree the seconds sale is the better route. The lid is the difference. This price isn't terrible if you need these two specific pieces, but you'd have to know you never want a lid.
