Never done this before, Basic question - so we buy a luggage for less than 150$, we get the equivalent value back in points and we can redeem those points to purchase some other things? When do we get the points? Are points equal to the amount we purchase? Any restrictions on what we can use the points for?

Be careful as OP mentioned, max is $150 and requires activation. Last note is, of course staples has higher msrp on everything, so shop around. Regardless, great deal if you need something and can burn the Staples points. An easy buy for me with points is consumables like water, paper, etc.

When you buy any item that has easy rewards, I believe they credit your rewards account after the item ships. The rewards generally don't expire unless your account is inactive for a long time.

You can then buy most everything they sell with the exception of prepaid Visa cards, Staples gift cards, etc.

If you buy a piece of luggage for $100 pretax, you'll earn $100 in reward points.
Once they're available, you can buy something, say for $120 and it will reduce the price down to only $20.

They're super easy to use.

If you regularly need stuff from Staples, it just doesn't get better than these 100% back in rewards promos.

They actually have some decent luggage too like Samsonite, Ricardo and Delsey.

Finally, you can use any promo codes if you have them as well.

So if you were looking at a suitcase that cost $200 and you have a $20 off of $100 promo code, you can apply that which will bring the suitcase down to $180 and you'll earn the maximum reward of $150.

What happens if I pay with points and cash? I am looking at the $599 luggage, and I have $100 in points

Looks like AirTags also fall under the travel category. It's one of the first things that pops up once you activate the deal

I wouldn't be too sure. There's a button that shows up underneath an item to "Activate" the 100% back in points on all luggage and travel accessories -- if it doesn't show up on the product I would assume that it is not eligible for the offer.

$599 luggage (don't be afraid to bring your Amazon app and pricematch the luggage at the Staples checkout!) - $100 in points = $499 in eligible purchases. Since the max is $150 in points, you get $150 in points.

Last time, Staples silently changed the promo to 50% even for those that bought it when it was advertised 100%. That was so scammy.

Hard to tell what qualifies as a travel accessory. The individual products don't seem to be marked as such.

1. you must activate the promotion
a. on the website, log in and click on "Easy Rewards" and Activate this promotion (or all of them)

2. in the past, after making the purchase, my receipt always showed the rewards points earned.
