Now, I haven't printed anything on my AD5x as a stock printer in a while, but according to at least one facebook post https://www.facebook.co
Now, switching over to Zmod's Bambufy Wipe Tower Type 1, there would be 690 filament changes. This is a huge difference compared to stock AD5x (tested both on Orca and Flash Studio). Presuming that Bambufy purges the same filament weight, that would be 171.81g total, or 44.077g saved just using Zmod. I went and measured out 10g of purge out of my poop basket, and then counted how many pieces that was; I ended up with 47 purged bits, so that was an average of 0.213g per purge, using the Bambufy Wipe Tower Type 1. 0.213g x 690 = 146.809g, or 69.078g saved over stock. If you go with Wipe Tower Type 2 (aka nopoop), I believe the AD5x will not purge at all, relying on the prime tower instead(?). I could test this but have not yet as of this post, but if it does what it says it does, then it would produce 0 purges similar to the Creator 5 and pro.
Almost 70g of saved filament is no joke for just firmware flash, and 215g of filament saved on purges is an even bigger save if you don't have to. But you also have to keep in mind the price of both the AD5x and the Creator 5. Last I checked, the AD5x was going for about $210 on Ali whereas this one is $507. Over double the price. If you pick up 10kg Kingroon filament on sale, that's what, about $7/kg, or $0.007/g. $0.007/g x 215g = $1.51. I'd have to print that Spiderman almost 200 times once per plate to make up the cost of the Creator 5. I wouldn't specifically get a Creator 5 for those kinds of savings, but that's just my opinion (which is why I picked up the Pro).
Hope this helps.

Flashforge Creator 5 is a four head tool changer built for fast multicolor and multi material printing, with purgeless operation and the ability to run different filaments in the same job. The independent heads also add redundancy, and setup, print quality, and ABS results are described positively. The main tradeoffs are the higher price, some manual filament handling, a prime tower still needed for priming, and reports of shaky motion on taller prints. It looks strongest for users who value speed and low waste over simplicity.
Common Questions (5)
These listings are intended to ship from a US-based warehouse, and buyers reported receiving units from within the US in about 2 to 3 days. That also reduces surprise fees and lowers the risk of fake items compared with third-party listings.
Not always. Some buyers saw AliExpress add sales tax after updating an address, which raised the total by about 8%, and others had to enter a shipping address before checkout or add filler items to make the coupon apply.
It uses a prime tower for priming rather than the large purge "poop" common on AMS-style systems. Because it is a multi-tool printer, tool changes are fast and filament waste is much lower than single-nozzle multicolor setups, though a prime tower is still needed for priming.
Multicolor prints can finish in less than half the time of an AD5X because tool changes take about 5 seconds, while AD5X filament swaps can take over a minute. The Creator 5 still uses a prime tower, but the tool-changer design makes color changes much faster.
Yes. The printer has 4 separate heads, which allows purgeless operation and lets different filament types be used in the same print. It is also being used successfully for multicolor and ABS parts.

The sale price just dropped, so some codes might not work.
Try JJX80D, JJX55D, USDEALS55, HDUS50, JJX40D, USDEALS40, or HDUS35 IOT get the final price down to ~$489+.
A text to customer support and the response was the shipper hasn't done a logistics update. And three days later still no update or printer. I'm going to buy a product from a different manufacturer and if this thing ever shows up, I'm just gonna return it.

Tried several things, none of the promo codes would work. Including the ones posted by Pirin a couple messages back
Took me a bit to figure out I couldn't add it to my cart because I had no shipping address entered.
