Now, I haven't printed anything on my AD5x as a stock printer in a while, but according to at least one facebook post https://www.facebook.co
Now, switching over to Zmod's Bambufy Wipe Tower Type 1, there would be 690 filament changes. This is a huge difference compared to stock AD5x (tested both on Orca and Flash Studio). Presuming that Bambufy purges the same filament weight, that would be 171.81g total, or 44.077g saved just using Zmod. I went and measured out 10g of purge out of my poop basket, and then counted how many pieces that was; I ended up with 47 purged bits, so that was an average of 0.213g per purge, using the Bambufy Wipe Tower Type 1. 0.213g x 690 = 146.809g, or 69.078g saved over stock. If you go with Wipe Tower Type 2 (aka nopoop), I believe the AD5x will not purge at all, relying on the prime tower instead(?). I could test this but have not yet as of this post, but if it does what it says it does, then it would produce 0 purges similar to the Creator 5 and pro.
Almost 70g of saved filament is no joke for just firmware flash, and 215g of filament saved on purges is an even bigger save if you don't have to. But you also have to keep in mind the price of both the AD5x and the Creator 5. Last I checked, the AD5x was going for about $210 on Ali whereas this one is $507. Over double the price. If you pick up 10kg Kingroon filament on sale, that's what, about $7/kg, or $0.007/g. $0.007/g x 215g = $1.51. I'd have to print that Spiderman almost 200 times once per plate to make up the cost of the Creator 5. I wouldn't specifically get a Creator 5 for those kinds of savings, but that's just my opinion (which is why I picked up the Pro).

FLASHFORGE Creator 5 is a four head tool changer built for fast multicolor and multimaterial printing, with purgeless tool changes and strong print quality. The heated chamber makes it appealing for ABS, PA, and other engineering filaments, and setup has been quick enough to get to first print in about 45 minutes. The main tradeoffs are the higher price, some manual filament handling, and a current firmware setup that still relies on a prime tower, so savings are not total. It also shakes enough that lower acceleration may help on taller prints, making it a strong fit when speed and low waste matter most.

A text to customer support and the response was the shipper hasn't done a logistics update. And three days later still no update or printer. I'm going to buy a product from a different manufacturer and if this thing ever shows up, I'm just gonna return it.
