Community Reviews
Nothing Headphone a is a stylish over ear model that stands out for battery life, comfort, and a bass friendly sound. The app equalizer gets praise for adding more bass potential, and the on ear controls and small power toggle are especially well liked. ANC is described as decent, though the XM4 still has stronger noise canceling, and the headphones do not support automatic pause when removed. A few comments also flag sharp sound, channel imbalance, and concerns about long term support, so it feels best suited to listeners who value looks, battery, and controls most.
The ANC reportedly works well while delivering good sound and comfort.
The headphones reportedly use a small on and off toggle switch for easier control.
The battery life reportedly stays strong with ANC enabled for long weekly use.
The sound reportedly offers a fun V-shaped profile that suits bass-focused listening.
The auto-pausing or removal detection reportedly does not work as expected.
The audio quality reportedly can be sharp and may include significant left and right channel imbalance.
The ANC reportedly can be weaker than Sony XM4 performance despite better sound.
The sound reportedly can fall behind Sony XM4s, leading to a return after comparison.

If price is flexible, the Bose QC line are the most comfortable, as the name implies. As far as on topic, Nothing seems to have zero support and a product that will break. So, caveat emptor.
I know anker & bose will straight up send you a new one in the warranty window.
