I don't trust Amazon delivery for single bags of chips like this. Other time I bought Chex mix from them it arrived with around 1/3 of the bag smashed into crumbs and dust.

Thats when you get a refund... its very simple. They rarely even ask for pictures or proof. They tell you to keep it and they refund you.

This has not been my experience. I bought three bottles of shampoo they shipped in a bag and one of the bottles burst. They made me return it. I brought them in a trash bag to the ups store the worker was pissed but eventually took it. That was the most recent one but it's happened several times before where liquids have broken during shipping and they either made me send it back to refused a refund because food is not returnable. I've stopped ordering stuff like that from them. For context I've had my account since 2001 and have been a prime member since pretty much the beginning. Outside of stuff damaged during shipping I might have 2-3 other returns a year.

Good point and true, I've gotten refunds for dented cans as well. But its still very annoying to order something and have it arrive damaged which seems to happen quite frequently with Amazon lately in my experience at least.

Do you handle the issues on line or with a live CS agent? If on line, the answer is always a return. With a live agent, they either give me a refund or replacement. I only had a single incident when the live agent asked for pictures while I was on the phone with her. It was an order of canned tomatoes. The box was so crushed, one of the cans broke open. I was glad she asked, so I could show them the damaged package.

The most recent one there was no way for me to chat with CS, that's what I've done in the past and usually they've been able to make it right but the most recent one there was no way to do it.

Keep doing that and one of two things will happen:

-You'll find that your account no longer gets coupons or discounts.

-Your account gets banned for "no reason". Hope you didn't use Amazon as a login anywhere else (like AWS)....or had any media purchases with Amazon....etc. Poof. They're gone. Evaporated like a cloud on a hot summer day.
