I bought these several weeks back. I highly advise sealing it up better with silicon if you live in a rainy area. There holes where the wires enter the plastic that are obvious areas that would need to be sealed.
Here in the Pacific Northwest its rare to make it through the rain (almost all the time). I've got one solar light remaining(originally from Costco) that is at least 5 years old that I had sealed well and it's still going!

These Kooper solar motion flood lights stand out for bright, adjustable outdoor coverage, with the deal claiming 3,500 lumens at maximum brightness and three adjustable heads. The promo code worked for the listed price, and the two pack includes working lights, though only one remote was in the box. The main concern is weather sealing, since the housing has wire entry holes and the IP65 rating may not be enough for wet locations. Sealing the unit with silicone looks important for rainy installs.

  • The promo code reportedly worked and enabled the $13.99 total price for the 2-pack.

    PurpleAction816pmsubstationbabero

  • The lights reportedly worked after unboxing and testing, with both units functioning.

    HopP61633

  • The remote reportedly can be used across compatible brands, even though button layouts may differ.

    HopP61633

  • Sealing the wire-entry holes with silicone reportedly helped a similar solar light last about five years in rainy conditions.

    groovadelickun

  • The promo code reportedly failed for some checkout attempts, requiring extra steps or multiple tries.

    cncmasteroforpur

  • Only one remote reportedly arrived in the 2-pack box, which can be inconvenient for controlling both lights.

    HopP61633

  • The lights reportedly have an IP65 rating, which may limit outdoor installation options.

    rkg111

  • The lights reportedly can fill with water if exposed to rain, creating a waterproofing concern.

ME9Z3Q2B still seems to work, but sometimes it cant take a couple of tries for Amazon to accept codes. And if you don't see an Apply button the arrow in the promo code box needs to be clicked to submit the code.
Need to click the arrow to the right for it to apply and work.

I wonder if those holes are for heat dissipation.

I think these lights wouldn't be on long enough to need any heat dissipation, battery probably will run out long before they produce enough heat to damage anything

Great Idea the things I do not even think of that cure problems before they happen. Not with these but last one I had would have lasted way longer had I ensured no water could get in. Thanks for info!

I have a different brand, same concept/layout and you're right- if these are exposed to *any* amount of rain, they fill with water. For reference, I'm in Texas which isn'teven a rainy area.
