I know times are bad, but for a machine like this 512GB SSD is a dealbreaker for me.

Neither imo. There have been better deals in the last week or two from better brands (which would be any of them that isn't MSI), black friday is usually underwhelming on laptops the last few years it seems. I mean obviously if you see a good one then grab it, I just wouldn't be passing on great deals right now. But this isn't a great deal. The Gigabyte that was just posted for 50 more beats this on almost every metric for instance. If you have a microcenter the Alienware is a better deal as well and as mediocre as alienware is, it still beats MSI on build quality.

Usually two weeks before BF has the best deals.

Hmmmm… I need a Unity dev laptop and this seems reasonable. Upgradable DDR5 to 96GB, dual 2280 NVME slots.

Seems decent

A game now requires space from 50 to 200G. 512G storage is ridiculous. After buying this I need a at least 2TB SSD that's another 400. So I will wait for eluktronics BF if I need a laptop.
