I have 2 of these (black & white). I replaced them both by jailbreaking my Kindle Paperwhite (2021) and installing a bluetooth HID app/button mapper.

Then bought this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0H1VF8Z9X

Infinitely better solution. No stupid clips !

The one I linked isn't on sale so one could wait for BF. Also I'm not paying 3 times, it's 2 times because you need 2 clips (one for back and one for forward).

Jailbreaking the paperwhite is EXTREMELY easy. All you do is sideload the jailbreak file and launch the book and you're done.
The hard part is the bluetooth HID. Not gonna lie, that was a royal PITA.

That said, YES, it was worth it. Having 1 single clicker, no clips to fumble with and using the infinitely customizable KOReader... I am in Kindle heaven. Did it all for a few hours of work and $15. I bough my 2021 Kindle for $75 and it's better than the ones amazon just released Big Grin
