This nano hydroxyapatite toothpaste is positioned as a low price way to support enamel repair, especially for routines that pair nHA with fluoride at different times of day. The 10 percent formula and claimed rod shaped particles drew interest, and the mint flavor was described as decent without a lingering aftertaste. The main cautions are that the coupon may be account specific, the toothpaste is not ADA approved, and it barely foams, which can make it feel less effective. It is a niche pick for enamel focused brushing routines.

  • The toothpaste can be used in a morning and night routine alongside fluoride toothpaste for enamel repair support.

  • The nano-hydroxyapatite formula can fill enamel scratches and gaps to help restore enamel structure.

  • The toothpaste can taste decent and may avoid an unpleasant lingering flavor when used before bed.

  • The deal can be solid for people who already use nano-hydroxyapatite alongside fluoride toothpaste for weak enamel.

  • Coupon availability may be account-specific, and the $3 off offer may not appear for every shopper.

  • The peppermint flavor may not meet expectations because peppermint toothpaste often tastes unpleasant.

  • The product may not be ADA approved, which can make trust and confidence harder for some buyers.

  • The toothpaste does not foam up at all, which can make brushing feel ineffective.

Maybe available only in select accounts. I don't see the $3 off. Otherwise, this type n-Ha toothpaste is great. I'm curious about the peppermint flavor as these typically don't taste great.

Isn't the whole point of nHa not using fluoride?

While many people use nHa to avoid Fluoride, some people are trying to maximize enamel strength by cycling both Fluoride and nHa. Fluoride and nHa work differently. nHa is nearly identical to natural enamel and fills in the scratches/gaps of enamel to restore it. In contrast, Fluoride reacts chemically and forms a harder, highly acid-resistant mineral layer. So, in theory at least, using both might result in better protection.

I seem to have weak enamel, so I just started using nHa toothpaste in the morning and Fluoride toothpaste at night.

Not sure if I trust a non-ADA approved toothpaste.

Well that's never going to happen for multiple reasons. First, ADA doesn't approve products, they just have a 'seal of acceptance'. Second, they only give a 'seal of acceptance' to toothpaste that contain Fluoride πŸ˜‚

If you are worried about approvals, nHa has been approved by both Japanese Ministry of Health and European Commission's Scientific Committee.

Thanks for sharing these, I didn't know they existed. The Dr. Jen's seems to be better, as the Carifree 1100 doesn't disclose the percentage of nHa. However, the prices are quite steep for both.
