I swore this hit $30 physical, but apparently that was only digital.

I believe the biggest benefit of this is the game is actually on the card, if I'm not mistaken, that's a big deal considering the cost of extra storage and how sizable this game is (60-64gb)

I picked up last December for $17.49 on the eShop during a pricing error.

According to dekudeals, the ultimate edition's lowest price for physical is Amazon's price and $28.99 for digital. I think the regular edition may have been on the cheap like it used to be for Xbox and the ps5. I remember the game went down to $10-15.

Yep. I think people aren't adding like $80-150 at minimum for a 512GB microsd card to the overall cost of their Switch 2. I bought mine for $360 used and didn't really use it for months but the thought of buying one at $500 new and a microSD card isn't great. Now my library's grown so much, way more that I ever thought it would, and that 512GB card is holding on for dear life. I officially have to play the uninstall things to install new things game and it sucks. If anybody can get this Cyberpunk new or used, it's a wonderful buy and it's so cool the full game's on the cart.

That sale was only for first party games and accessories. This is the lowest price seen for physical. And strangely Amazon does not appear to be matching another retailer this time, or at least not an obvious retailer. Not Target, Walmart, or Best Buy, which is typically where their sale prices come from.

Differing opinions on that. I personally prefer downloads to the system. I don't have an sd card for expansion. I just remove games I am not currently playing. The storage is enough for a few titles at once, and it isn't like you lose games that aren't currently downloaded. Load times, however, go up a lot when using a game card. SD card times are also notably longer than the built in ssd. I want the quality bump from having it local. By the time Nintendo servers no longer have the game functional, I expect the game will be accessible on the open sea and not having a physical copy will be irrelevant to me. I don't really ever sell my games, though. I totally get the appeal of a game card or entire game as a physical cartridge for resale purposes.
