The RAM has a $50 promo code which "falls off" when you add the combo to the cart. If you go through Newegg's own PC Builder tool, it suggests that the promo code should still work and shows the total price of $730.98 before adding to the cart (see the screenshot). I would not jump on this deal unless you can get Newegg to honor their own best offer.

yeah the promo code didn't work for me since it was a bundle. I did try manually removing the free cooler from cart as well and it wouldn't apply (I assumed that it wouldn't but figured I'd test it). Still a good deal imo though.

Yeah, I also tried that. I understand them not wanting to let you double dip, but they do dangle that possibility when you go through the PC Builder tool. With the extra $50 off, the deal would have been so much sweeter.

You actually can get the $50 promo code to apply to the ram by using the pc builder and adding an additional item that has the green "combo offer" badge to this combo. With the additional item in cart the ram promo code is no longer blocked from being applied. While it's obviously optimal to do so with other primary components you would've been purchasing from newegg anyway, you can save money on this combo even with a filler item.
For example, the cheapest items I found that work are either of these fans (choose one depending on if you prefer standard or reverse): https://www.newegg.com/asus-90da0...6835101147 OR https://www.newegg.com/asus-90da0...6835101146
They're $35 after combo savings, and allow the $50 promo code to apply to the ram, therefore you get the original combo plus the additional fan (filler item) for $765.97, $15 cheaper than the combo alone.
Because you put a fake $1059 anchor price right in the title to make a marked-up retail bundle look like a massive steal. When a $100 dollar RAM kit has to carry a fictional $500 dollar price tag just to manufacture a 26% discount badge, people are going to downvote the cash register tricks every time.
Though what I say will invite the self-proclaimed current market SD analysts, supply chain experts, and time machine deniers for whatever stupid reason to justify these atrocious prices.

I'm not going to risk getting SD sued or make a retailer angry with me by putting an msrp that's not the one they have listed. Complain to them, not to me.
I'm passing on this one too, but for a different reason: I don't want to pay inflated prices for a bundled SSD and RAM, especially generic parts on SSD/RAM and a mediocre AIO cooler on a balanced processor for mixed workloads, better power efficiency, or are gaming at higher resolutions. So if I buy this, I won't be overclocking.
