I bought this knife some years back, upgrading from a worn out, janky harbor freight model. There may easily be better options out there, but I have really enjoyed using it. It is comfortable in my hand, the blade storage is more than adequate and the blade change system is easy to use.
In fact my wife liked it so much that she kept stealing it from my tool bags when she needed it around the house. I eventually bought her an identical one for her Christmas stocking. She was thrilled.
I don't know if this is an amazing price, but it is a good quality tool.

I have owned quite a few utility knives with internal flaws from day one. If it doesn't work correctly at first take it back or throw it out. It's not worth the time and frustration of having to manipulate it to work.
