Crimson Peak is Del Toro's worst movie. I bought a code for it in iTunes for $0.75 a few years ago through one of those code reselling sites; it was literally the cheapest movie they had on there and I needed a filler for a discount. It's a boring romance that plays out exactly like every other vampire romance movie Mia Wasikowska is in--only her love interest isn't her uncle this time, it's Tom Hiddleston. Not as good as Rebecca by du Maurier, the book it basically copied. Not as interesting as Dracula or Dark Shadows, even. Been done a million times.

I thought this movie was awesome. Im tempted to buy this special edition even though I have the digital copy.
