Any reason why these couldn't be used as speaker cables for DJ style speakers?

Yes. Generally, shielded cables are NOT good for speakers, just instruments...

Can damage things. Look it up for more info.

Adding a small caveat to what PreacherCruz said. If the speakers are powered and all you have to do is run an audio signal to them, you might be OK, but you would probably want something longer than 10' cables.

If you're running from a power amp or something to unpowered speakers, do NOT use these, only use speaker cables. Using guitar cables can fry the power amp.

the simple answer is guitar cable only handles milvolts and microamps. It uses smaller gauge wire. Speakers on the other hand carry many more times the amount of power. If you run speakers on instrument caple it will overheat and eventually fail. Probably causing your power amp to fry.

AGC04SD still seems to work. If you're using the Amazon app you might be missing the step of tapping on the arrow that appears in the promo code box to apply the code (before tapping the Continue button).

It depends on your setup, but chances are your DJ gear is pushing out a much stronger or amplified signal compared to instrument level that comes from a guitar/bass.

Best case scenario: your signal cuts out during performance. Worst case: the cables overheat, melt, and/or damage equipment.

Find out the peak output from from your equipment that's going to your speakers, and look up the recommended gauge based on that. Better to be safe than sorry.
