These are good for 90% of people just looking for shokz/this style of headphones.
Otherwise I'd say go for the Pro 2's, but they're twice this price on sale so not a good comparison.
Personally would wear these all the time back when I worked in the SD office and it was nice to quickly pause/resume without having to take my headphones off/earbuds out when talking to coworkers.

The Chinese copies of the magnetic charging cable work fine too. My family has so many Shokz products and we probably have a dozen of OE and CHICOM cords all over the house.

I'm def the 10% that need the Pro 2s.. sound quality is SO MUCH BETTER (because it has a traditional speaker in addition to the bone conduction) and it uses USB-C (which is useful because the battery life isn't too great, and I don't want to carry around a cable/adapter)

Same, I have the OpenRun, the OpenRun Pro the OpenRun Pro 2, and the OpenFit 2. The Pro 2's are worth the price for the sound upgrade and battery life. I have a pair on a round the clock, I get a full day out of the Pro 2's, and ware my OpenRun Pro's when I sleep, they still last about 8 hours, and I've had those for 3 years and ware them nightly, only takes an hour to fully recharge as well. Shokz have yet to let me down!

Sleep with the OpenRuns? I can't work out how that would be comfortable!

i went from openrun pro, pro2, openfit2. worth the upgrade path. sound quality is significantly better in pro2/openfit2. i already lost an openfit2 but like them enough to keep buying them (just dont bend down while wearing them.. they sound so good that i didnt realize i lost one until much later on my bike ride)

Try a mini version, should be more secure.

Its surprisingly comfortable, I used earbuds for years before, but they would fall out at night and not last more than a few hours. These last all night and stay on. I have music on 24/7, so I'm used to having them on my head.

I have a pair of the original Open Run and the Pro2....

I have found (for me) that both are great in a quiet or simi quiet setting. If you are surrounded by noise, I learned that if you put some sound reducing ear buds in, the Open Run is much clearer and louder then the Pro2.

Pro2 has better overall sound quality and the battery lasts longer, but I find the bone conducting shape of the Open Run is better (for my head anyway).

Just food for thought - both are GREAT and both are comfortable to wear, I often forget I have mine on.

BTW code IS still working as of my posting.... yea, I ordered yet another pair!
