I have this and can confirm that the reviews that say this heats up the phone and itself are true. I usually take it off after 20-30 mins as it starts to get uncomfortably warm.

Is that not usually the case with wireless charging? Or this doesn't happen with more reputable brands like Anker? Looking to get my first Magsafe power bank.

Honestly wireless charging gets hot. It's my last choice. I only use it if I don't have a cable to plug my phone to. I have an Anker and between the wireless charging and the wire charging I get more of a charge from the cable versus the wireless one. a lot of heat between the devices when I use wireless.

It gets very hot, especially in the sun. As a workaround, I attach it to the back of my phone but charge the phone using a cable.
