This Ninja Luxe Caf espresso machine is praised for making espresso and milk drinks easy, with strong results for lattes, cafe au lait, and even drip coffee. The automatic milk steaming, self cleaning frother, and guided grind recommendations make it especially convenient, and the refurb units often arrive looking brand new. The main caveats are the 90 day limited warranty, some clunky workflow when switching settings or making multiple drinks, and occasional missing single shot accessories. A solid value if you want an all in one coffee setup without paying full retail.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. It is reported to make good espresso and coffee, with easy cleanup and a smart frother that self-cleans. Several owners use it multiple times a day for lattes, drip coffee, and even hot chocolate, and some say it pays for itself by cutting coffee-shop spending.
Yes. Buyers report units arriving sealed or with only tiny signs of reconditioning, such as tape still on the machine, sealed accessories, a small dent, or a bit of coffee dust in the grinder. Some deliveries are the Costco ES655CO version instead of the listed ES601, but still look brand new.
Most reports mention the double and quad shot baskets, but not the single-shot basket or espresso cup. Some units also arrive with the manual and all accessories, while others are missing the manual and single-shot accessory.
The Costco version is model ES655, while the advertised unit is ES601. The ES655 is reported to add a single-shot basket option and an extra froth setting, though some buyers received the ES655CO even when the box was labeled 601.
It may be worth considering because the Woot warranty is only 90 days. One owner had a heating/control-board failure after a few months and said sourcing parts was difficult, while another had Ninja replace a broken part with a whole new machine under warranty.

Haven't seen anyone report that they received the single shot accessory even on the costco version. Thankfully if your machine supports it (and you find yourself wanting it) its only like $10 3rd party.
If my replacement isn't the 655 then I'll wait for the 701 to come back in stock
