Seems like decent reviews at that price. Wish they had a saucepan or stockpot - don't see the tri-ply in anything else.

Maybe contains a metal that California considers toxic?

ask and here you go, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FVS92...title&th=1
I have these and they are stealing once you fix the lid/handle defect; handles aren't aligned perfectly creating stress on the glass lids, I shimmed all my handles with 1mm silicon washers....problems go away. It's a nice set el cheapo

Perhaps not willing to pay the stupid fees and certifications to make California happy.

Honestly for the price this competes with pans 3x the cost. Heavy, flat bottom, no hot spots on my induction. Handle gets hot though so keep a towel nearby.

The B-stock deals get posted here pretty often but it's still going to be 4x the price of this or more. You can get new All-Clad during big sales for not that much more than their B-stock.

Krutoi's rec doesn't make much sense considering the huge price difference, but All-Clad is quality and will last a long time.

Also you may want to check a TJ Maxx or similar discount store if you have one nearby. Sometimes they stock All-Clad for a good deal but usually the good stuff gets picked over.
