This is very shiny compared to some other silk PLAs. Great for some use cases

I don't like to trash talk products, but I feel the need to warn people. I purchased a PLA (light blue or teal) and a clear PETG from this brand when I first got a 3D printer 2 years ago because I didn't want to waste more expensive filament on my test runs while getting to learn how to print. I had a horrible experience with both. The PLA had extremely poor layer adhesion issues, it would breaks just trying to get it off the plate some times. Everything I printed with it broke very quickly and easily at the layer lines. The PETG was the most impossible thing to print with ever. I was only recently able to print something useful with it, although very small, at extremely slow settings and then taking it even further by putting having my printer switch to "quiet" mode.

I thought I bought the wrong or a messed up printer until my next set of alternative brand filament arrived and I was printing as easily as everyone else again.

I second this brand's PLA being very brittle, at least from one (out of one tried) roll purchased about a month ago. Prints fine for larger, simple decorative objects but small parts immediately snap at joins that several colors of Kingroon PLA have no issue with.

Haven't used their silk, but bought a bunch of their matte PLA when Amazon had it on a huge sale at Haul a few months back and ended up absolutely loving the stuff. So YMMV apparently

Sometimes you just need to print at higher tempts for layer adhesion. Try 220

This was over a year ago, so it's long gone and never bought again. But you're actually making me think I might have been printing lower than 220, I was just using whatever default PLA profile was in orca at the time. Now all my PLA does print at 220.
