Solid value but beware, the RAM is CL38 (if that matters to you)

Yea it can make a pretty big difference sometimes. However.. if it's for gaming, I've seen benchmarks that show the 3D cache in this particular processor can almost make up for it

What about for fortnite cash cups? I heard cl30 is the only way to go. Is that not true?

Unless you are top 100 in the world, it quite literally does not matter. 220 fps vs 235 fps in fortnite will not make you a better player. You would already be ahead of 98% of the players hardware. Your mouse, keyboard and monitor will be a much larger difference then cl 30 to cl 38, and your overall skill.

Hey, anybody remember yesterday....? Ya know, back when you could get this in a case, with PSU and at least a 5070 GPU for the same price? Yeah, the world stopped turning a long time ago. That motion that some of you feel, it's from the great flush that occurred many years ago. Now we're all just circling the drain!
Cheers and good luck folks🍻

The "X3D" in your processor means it features AMD's 3D V-Cache—a massive pool of ultra-fast on-chip memory. Because the CPU can store so much game data directly on the processor itself, it rarely needs to reach out to your system RAM. This almost completely bypasses the latency penalty of a higher CL number

And too also, nobody could really notice the difference between 28 and 38 cas regardless. This has been tested and proven repeatedly now. It's just a lower number better "on paper" more so then in actual reality. I run 96 gigs of DDR5 7800 at this speed and a few points in any direction makes no difference for the work I do. I did test it when I first built my rig. But stability is paramount for my work, and gaining 1 or 2 fps means nothing to anyone here in the real world.

I regret passing on a prebuilt r7 9800x3d, 5070ti 16gb, 32gb ddr5, 2tb pcie4 last year for 1300 😭
I regret not buying a 5090 for the 2 seconds that it sold for list price! I thought it was too much at launch and just wait for a black Friday deal, well, all Fridays are red now and we won't see black until this ai trash finally eats itself in a cyclical loop, or us.... Whichever comes first.

Ai has already destroyed the world without skynet or terminators. And it just seems like nobody has noticed.?

Not bad and I think New Egg has some sort of payment plan option? Being able to pay over time would be good for me. I think its Affirm or something like that.

Good mobo, but be careful and make sure you have a ups properly installed with it or the rgb headers on it will error out eventually and not work.

Also, you have to remove the gpu and unscrew the backplate to clear or jump the cmos
