I'm considering the gd 51 but also a Yamaha fg830. I can't really try them around where I live though. Anyone have any experience with these dreadnoughts.

I've owned a guitar from this brand; it was completely unremarkable.

I don't know about these, or where they're manufactured, but my Japanese made Takamine is a tremendous guitar, and I've owned Taylor and Martins.

No, but I also have the 830 and I have a really hard time believing any Taka under 1000 would beat it!

been rocking on a takamine G series for a decade, definitely overperforms in it's price range by a mile imo.

it's not a Taylor but its also a fraction of the price, beats everything else in the 300$ range

Great prices on the G Series. These guitars will be much better than anything in this price-range. At this price, it's an easier justification to take it to a guitar store and have them setup the guitar (usually around $100).

I own a Takamine G series, Cutway, Acoustic-Electric guitar for last 5 years. Costed me $600. They are great but anything under $750, my recommendation will be always to buy Yamaha guitars. If you can afford, pls take Takamine - Pro, Signature or Limited Edition series guitars. They are amazing and I guarantee they will never let you down and better than many top brands.

Today, I need any real user suggestion on the Taka-Mini guitars listed here. Anyone here using it already , any suggestion, feedbacks please ?

What's the actual difference between the GD11M and the GD51 besides price? The specs look close on the site and I can't tell what the extra money gets you

Don't know anything about guitar. My daughter took a class and seems to have enjoyed it. What's a good guitar to get for a beginner like her? Seems like you recommended Yamaha but what model if that is the right term to use. Thanks!
