- Enrollment is limited. Eligible Card Members must first add offer to their Card and then use same enrolled Card for qualifying purchases. Any Cards issued outside of the US are not eligible. Excludes in-store purchases, bulk gift cards & e-gift cards, layaway purchases, insurance services, auto services, pharmacy, protection plans, home services, and recurring subscription services (for example, Beauty Box and Baby Box). Excludes purchases made on third party and affiliate websites associated with Walmart.com (such as, but not limited to, Walmart Contacts, Walmart Checks, Walmart Photo Services, Walmart Stationary, and Walmart Moneygram). See merchant website for shipping policy. Some merchants may not ship to all areas.
- Purchases must be made in USD. Offer is only valid on purchases made directly with the merchant. Offer not valid on purchases made using third parties, such as resellers, delivery services, or other intermediaries.
- Statement Credit
- If you meet the offer requirements, the statement credit(s) will typically post to your account within 30 days after you make a qualifying purchase, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. In some circumstances, it may take up to 90 days after the offer end date for statement credit(s) to post. Please call the number on the back of your Card if credit(s) have not posted to your account 30 days after you made the qualifying purchase. Accounts that are canceled at the time of fulfillment of the offer will not receive the credit(s). Credit(s) may not be received or may be reversed if a purchase is returned, partially returned, refunded, canceled or modified.

2 years ago, I ordered a Walmart physical gift card from walmert.com for delivery, and it was stolen by the delivery company OnTrac in another state halfway between the warehouse and my home before an empty envelope was delivered at my door. Although Walmart verified it was spent within a couple of hours after 'delivery' at a store 900 miles away from my home, it refused to replace or refund it. It cost me enormous amount of time calling and emailing Walmart and my credit card bank multiple times, gathering documents, taking pictures to eventually get my money back from my credit card bank 2 months later.
I would greatly appreciate if someone can verify if Walmart still delivers pre-activated physical gift cards by no-name delivery service in an obvious envelope.
