I've got a problem with these buckets that they contain WAY too much beans and rice

Quote :
This protein and sides bucket is a perfect addition to any emergency food supply. Whether you're dealing with a natural disaster, food shortage, or simply want to boost your daily meals, it's easy to be prepared with ReadyWise. These great-tasting dried Meats and Sides are ready in minutes when you just add water. Packaged in stackable buckets with easy Grab-N-Go handles, they're simple to store and transport.

Includes:

Cooked Beef - 8 Servings
Cooked Diced Chicken - 8 Servings
Cooked Sausage - 8 Servings
Pinto Beans - 10 Servings
Kidney Beans - 20 Servings
Black Beans - 10 Servings
Long Term White Rice - 30 Servings
The meats are only 25% (by serving) of this bucket. Dried beans you can find for easily $1/lb and rice for even less. Granted -- for long term storage you will need to get mylar bags and oxygen absorbers and probably buckets or totes as well for placing them in. Also freeze dried beef is expensive and not something folks have access to generally.

Anyway, just know what you are getting here: everything packaged for convenience and a few servings of beef. But if you really want to go down this rabbit hole there are absolutely ways to do most of this on your own.

/Guy who has a bunch of buckets of beans and rice sealed up tight.
