Got this for the same price last time. It died after 3 months and return window is closed. There is no Chat or Phone or website to submit warranty, just an email address provided by Amazon. Their website is a generic Wordpress page. They would take their sweet time to process a warranty claim. After all kind of requests that you have to submit, they would still cricket. Cheap product for cheap price. Buy it at your own risk and don't expect anything post purchase. I'm using the kit from Harbor Freight with my drill from now on.

Buy this one and return your old one with your new return window. Easy peasy. I bought one and it works great. Sounds like you got a dud.
