Going to use Dave Grohl's words and say that for ramen, these are "THE BEST, THE BEST, THE BEST, THE BEST"

Google Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy,

Dehydrated beef bone broth is a great way to catch it.

They buy the cheapest bones, which often includes the spine of infected cows..
Didn't know about this.

Mad cow? I'm pretty sure that was a 90s thing and we created regulations against using the high-risk tissues (brain and spinal cords) in food in the 90s. Shin Black sold in the USA is made in the USA and subject to FDA regulations. Corporations gonna cut costs so you can never be 100% sure what kind of bones went into your broth, but that goes for any bone broth or soup product you might buy. If you wanna be paranoid, go ahead. If you have some more specific information, please share.

Unfortunately, even during the height of the plague, only Europe followed through with the culling of the "mad cow". The us simply decided it was too costly, so 90% of us herd is untested. That remains true through today. It's endemic.

If you've ever wondered why those old fs in congress and leadership is so fn' messed up and demented, welp.

The infection isn't just limited to spinal bone, the nervous tissue traverse the whole animal, including muscle.

So if you eat cow in general, it's merely a matter of more or less prions going into your gut.

Because they are producing it more and more and the cost of making becomes less. Just simple economics.

No. It will get stale and mushy. I believe they deep-fried in palm oil during the manufacturing process. So that oil tends to get stale and will turn the expired noodles nasty when you make them after it expires.

Costco used to have this noodle:
Sapporo Ichiban Tokyo Chicken Momosan Ramen

That was the best instant noodle I have ever eaten that was available and made at home. Too bad they don't have any anymore
