This Costco in store deal is for the Apple Watch Ultra 3 GPS plus cellular, and the main draw is the steep price drop on a rugged model with sapphire glass, extra battery headroom, and 5G plus satellite support. Stock has been showing up at specific warehouses even when the website says out of stock, and several locations were confirmed with multiple units. Price matching has also worked through Best Buy in some cases, though local stock appears to matter for approval. The main hesitation is that the newer S12 and Ultra 4 chip is seen as a meaningful upgrade, so this is a strong value if the current feature set is enough.
Common Questions (5)
Yes, price matching was successful for several buyers, including matches from $499.97 down to $449.97 and even from $599.97 after the deal price appeared. Best Buy chat or app support worked for some, but at least one attempt failed when the item was not in stock locally.
Yes. The deal is being found in Costco warehouses, and several comments note that stock varies by location even when the website or app shows out of stock. Checking the local warehouse or kiosk is the practical way to verify availability.
Yes. Multiple warehouses had units available despite the website or app showing out of stock, including stores with about 5 units on hand. Local inventory can differ from the online listing.
It can. One Best Buy attempt was denied because the item was not in stock locally, while other price matches went through even when Costco's zip code showed no delivery availability. Trying a different agent or chat channel may help.
Reported prices include $499.97, $449.97 after a price match, and $449.95 in-store at Timnath, CO. That means the shelf price can be lower than the posted $500 deal depending on the warehouse or later markdowns.
