Community Reviews
This Costco in store Apple Watch Ultra 3 deal centers on the 49 millimeter GPS plus Cellular model at a sharp discount, with the strongest appeal being the lower price and the premium Ultra features. Community reports show real store stock in multiple locations even when the website or app said out of stock, and several Best Buy price matches went through, sometimes after a few tries. The main catch is that availability and matching depend on the store or agent, so some attempts were denied when stock could not be verified. A solid in store bargain if you can find inventory or get a match.
Common Questions (4)
Yes, Best Buy price matching has worked for many buyers, often after multiple attempts or with a different agent. Some matches were approved even when Costco showed no local delivery stock, while other attempts were denied because the item was not in stock locally or at the original retailer.
Yes. The deal is in-store only, and availability varies by warehouse; several locations had stock even when Costco's website or app showed out of stock. Shoppers also reported finding it by walking into the store or checking the kiosk ticket.
Yes, the price later dropped to about $449.95-$450 at some Costco locations, and buyers who had already paid $499.97 were able to get a price match or refund for the difference. That made the effective savings larger than the original $500 tag.
It is generally not considered a compelling upgrade from Ultra 1 or Ultra 2, but it can be a strong value upgrade from older Series watches. The main reasons cited for keeping it are the sapphire display, extra battery headroom, and 5G plus satellite support.

They first confirmed the price match. Then waited on the line while I placed the order and provided them the order #, and then the agent submitted the refund for ~$220 (diff + tax).

How did you get that rep accommodate? Each time after they asked for a zip code, they would say Costco website in out of stock, therefore they can't match the sales price
