16GB RAM is quite limiting though, especially when running on Windows 11.

The iGPU on this should be capable of running FF7 Rebirth on low settings but the lack of RAM causes stutters galore.

the ram is atleast upgradable to 24gb with a 16gb stick.

True but then you've got 8GB running in single channel mode.

Besides, a 16GB DDR5 stick costs $200-250 nowadays, or around 33%+ of this laptop's price. Doesn't seem worth it.

I ordered this because specs look good for the price, then did more extensive research and people hate the build quality on this thing. All plastic and hinges especially seem to come apart after a couple years. Sad because I loved working with ThinkPads at work and those things are built like tanks and kinda just assumed their consumer stuff would also be good. Buyer beware!

Cancelled order 3 hours later but it still shipped, d'oh!

45% NTSC, 300 nits. Colors are going to look a bit washed out but I reckon that's just standard in the lower end models.

I have a 16" Yoga purchased for $550 in 2024 with same CPU and it's got the same display specs as this except it's touchscreen. For indoor use, it's fine.
